Sure, I love being a cow on Back at the Barnyard, despite the many barbs I receive from people who are incensed that there is no such thing as a male cow with udders (I remind them that animals don't talk and scheme, either) but I was delighted when Cartoon Network hired me to play a kung fu chicken named Chuckie (pictured above, with the glasses). The show is called Chop Socky Chooks and revolves around three martial arts superhero chickens who live and work in a Japanese mall-city. Moreover, it's produced by the muti-oscar winning animation powerhouse Aardman, who is responsible for Wallace & Gromit, Creature Comforts and Chicken Run, which is a pile of awesomeness to an animation nerd like m'self. If you watch it, pay attention to the backgrounds---it's some of the most stunning artwork I've ever seen in an animated cartoon. Oh, and it's also hilarious and weird, which means I honestly would have watched the show even if I had nothing to do with it whatsoever.
Chop Socky Chooks premieres this Friday, March 7th at 9pm EST.

Awesome! I love Aardman stuff - I wished that CBS had aired Creature Comforts more than twice. I'll definitely check it out!

Next time someone gives you a hard time about being a male cow with udders, you should ask him or her if s/he had issues with Heffer on Rocko's Modern Life fifteen years ago. It's not like you're Nickelodeon's first transgender cow.
P.S. I enjoy the chicken show.
