Comedy Central Presents: Hard 'n Phirm Friday Night!!!

 

It seems like only five months ago that we went to New York to shoot our very own half-hour comedy special and now good 'ol episode 1214 is finally airing tomorrow night. Will it be good? What songs will they cut? WE DON'T KNOW! The important thing is that you watch to find out and re-evaluate our place in your heart:

My First Article in Wired

I have somehow managed to con my way into a magazine writing job. My first article is in the November issue of Wired, as the title of this post boasts. It's a little nubbin of a piece on DIY laser hacks--that's right, tinkering you can do with LASERS in your own home! This really is the future, Good Citizens. Oh, and apparently Manga's pretty big these days, too.

PBS, A Talking Cow, and Arkansas

Tomorrow marks the premiere of Wired Science on PBS. I am quite happy about that, though I will miss the show because I'll be traveling to perform some of my nerd-themed comedy in Arkansas as half of Hard 'N Phirm, where they will hopefully be amenable to said comedy. Also, if you have kids or just enjoy cartoons because you know they're awesome, I do a voice for a Nickelodeon show called Back at the Barnyard, which just premiered this past Saturday, and will run every Saturday at 10:30am/9:30am Central. Check those DVRs for more airtimes.

As for this blog, I intend to skew it science-y with science-themed rants about scientific principles and science-related news, so please pop in from time to time or just rely on your old pal, RSS (I really threw "science" into that last sentence a lot---some might say too much). When I get this thing up and running, I'll have an email list sign-up for very low-impact updates about live shows and whatnot.
