"Recently, I tried to convince my girlfriend that the movie was "cool," but for some reason she didn't feel it held up."

This would be the same effort that my SO made with "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension." He was met with similar results.

The Nerdist

Not a fan of alien Rastafarians, eh?

*shrug* Apparently not.

But he did hit the ball out of the park by bringing "Flash Gordon" into my life. Now THAT movie holds up. :-)

*sings Queen's theme song*

That was the most delicious piece of awesome my brain has ever tasted.

I actually know the entire song by heart and spent money on a Stan Bush Album just for this song and Dare. And at least now I know that Stan Bush did not write a Sond for a Giant Robot, as awesome as it may be.

Oh my dear god in heaven. This has opened a floodgate of traumatic 80's memories. Please, make it stop.

It's sad that he didn't record a song to go along with the animated GI Joe movie.

I had to stop the video 2 minutes in. My brain hurt from it.

"I'll be back to transform your day into an adventure" (or something like that. I'm not too confident in my quoting abilities right now. Anyways...) if you know what I mean!

That was a bit too anticlimactic of a punchline. Damn parenthesis...

Who else here agrees Chris owes us the time back (however small) that we invested on watching this video? I'm thinking repayment by iTunes gift certificates; none of this make us do contests for treats anymore.

The Nerdist

Alan, that doesn't sound like the words of someone who's got The Touch...

...or the power...

I personally Love the Song, and think that it's possibly one of the best everm though the opening that showed Prime and the kid and when the kid said: "What happend to Grimlock, did they drop him on his head?" Just makes me think og Huffer, and why we never saw him EVER again. You make fun of Ratchets Dino-bots, you get wacked.

i'm glad you brought this song/video up Chris. It's truly a classic and they should have used it in the new film at least as an inside joke.

Dan Telfer

I wonder why stop-motion animation never caught on with the Transformers universe.
