To be more accurate, it's really New Zealand's fault for this one. A Kiwi chap got busted for child abuse after posting footage of himself swinging his kid around airplane-style, so the NZ PSA Strike Force issued this commercial. At first you think that it's either a joke or that the new season of the Conchords has taken a melodramatic turn. BUT NO--but both of those are erroneous. It is real, proving once again that Kiwis are HILARIOUS, no matter what they do.
In order to warrant a whole PSA it occurred to us that this must be some kind of national sport, so naturally Kevin and I had to be the first to play it on American soil.

Naturally.
I hear "swingploitation" will be included in the next quarterly update of the OED.

no you have it all wrong, An aussie man (a frequent LiveLeak uploader) in QLD RE-POSTED the vid from metacafe and he was busted for downloading, and distribution child abuse, for a fake old viral too!!!
the guy doing the swinging is a russian cicus performer.
the psa is a different story altogether. you can watch that tv and no one gets arrested
it's big news now, that poor guy in queensland.
oh btw the cops said it is against the law to even watch the baby swinging video ( still up and seen by millions)
